On the latest review on TGWTG.com, Nostalgia critic did a review on Doug's first movie. During the review, about 5 minutes and a few seconds in, he talks about doing a cross over with Nash. Nash is seen holding the space core I made him!
If you look up The Rosenhacker on TGWTG.com, his video reviews will involve wheatley ( his new sidekick ).
On the "death dedication" podcast of the Nerdist podcast, chris hardwick mentions the plush tardis he got in dc along with a video response he did for Jim Carrey's video. The video is posted on funny or die. Behind him is the Tardis that I made him and I noticed a lot of responses there asking where he got it. So yeah
I'm honestly more happy that the people I gave them to, enjoy them a lot more than I had ever imagined. I actually am a bit humbled by this! I just gave them to those people as a way of thanking them for making me laugh and smile during the week. You only live once and the people that make you happy in my opinion are the ones that are the most important. It's good to know that I can return the favor and give them something that makes them smile as well!
I have a few more made for others as well but haven't mailed them out to anyone yet. I am making a Dhother Plush for Lordkat as well as a Tardis plush for Craig Ferguson and have already finished making my zombie plush for Jonah Ray, My astronaut plush for Matt Mira and a Doctor who space invaders Atari cartridge plush for Chris Hardwick when their Nerdist podcast in dc is rescheduled. I am also kind of up in the air about what i want to do for katsuon. I was a bit bummed that I waited to long to put in for a dealer table at katsucon. Was a bit busy between orders and getting ready to go on my trip to scotland to visit the BF, so by the time i checked the website, it had already passed. But, it's alright, I'll just pass out my business cards again!
Kind of up in the air about the costume for katsu as well. I'm either going as Doctor insano with a random space core, Potados that I will be making< or I'll be going as Mike T Nelson from MST3K with blue jumpsuit and will be making a plushie version of Tom Servo, Kind of undecided yet. THe Tome servo would be a good addition to my weird custom plushie making i've had a niche to do lately. I've also been working on a pattern for plush ponies but not sure when I'll get that done along with sizing down the dalek to sell. Hopefully things wil be done soon.
Currently working on a few GLADOS head throwpillows to sell.
Just wanted to share my adventures
